Golf and Amaretto!!

Clint and Sarah celebrated their birthdays in October. Sarah had an Amaretto cake iced with whipped cream icing and drizzled with chocolate. Clint is an avid golfer so Sarah surprised him with his very own golf cake!

Welcoming a Soldier Home!

Our neighbor Zach served in Iraq and came home during the summer. His family had a welcome home party and I made a Tank Cake for this special celebration. We are so happy that Zach is back home in Georgia and thankful for his service to our country. Yellow cake was frosted with tinted buttercream. Black licorice and oreos were used to make the tires.

Mario!!

Derrian is a real Mario fan! This is one of my favorite cakes. The cake
itself was marble, with white buttercream. Mario is filled in with tiny stars.

Another Guitar Cake

This cake was for Kenlie and she loves Hannah Montana.

Dolphin and Mermaid

Cassie asked for a cake with a dolphin and mermaid on it (not Little Mermaid!).

Guitar Cake

Carlie loves Taylor Swift & guitars, so she got a pink & purple guitar cake. She actually called me during her party to thank me for the cake! What a sweet girl.

High School Musical!!

For Madison's 9th birthday, she asked for a High
School Musical cake with whipped cream frosting. Iced sugar cookies were used for the basketballs, megaphones, pennants and movie clapboard.

Cigar Birthday Cake

CaDee asked me to make a cake for her uncle's 60th birthday. She said he "loved cigars". After searching for ideas for a cigar cake, this is what I came up with. White cake with white buttercream frosting, red border, and fondant cigars!

The cake was awesome!!! Everyone loved it and wanted to know who made it. Seriously, the frosting was out of this world and the cake was a perfect consistency. :) Thank you for taking the time to make it so special. Thanks. (CaDee)

50th Anniversary

Happy 50th Anniversary, Mom & Dad!
On August 2, our family celebrated the 50th Anniversary of my parents. This cake was my first attempt at a tiered cake. I was a bit apprehensive when it came time to set the top tier on the bottom, but it worked! The white cake was iced with gold tinted frosting. It was decorated with large polka dots made from fondant and smaller dots made from untinted frosting.
